I thought I give some news...

I am currently working on the original soundtrack of a long-feature film by austrian director Patric Chiha (Aurora films, France).
It is a very exciting project and I can't wait to start the studio sessions!

The recordings will start in early october 2008 at Third Side Studios, Paris. 3rd side is also called the "Chicken cottage". Check that place man, it s like candy for me! http://www. thirdsiderecords. net/)

That means I'll be in my parisian hoodz
all fall long. My second record is ready and its release will wait another couple of months.

Concert de Milkymee pour Vent des forêts le 10 juillet

12 jours frénétiques de rencontres, ateliers sauvages, concerts acoustiques, bal au village, cinéma en plein air, chantiers et résidences artistiques à ciel ouvert.

Au coeur du département de la Meuse, en Lorraine, six villages vivent chaque été depuis 1997 au rythme de la création : accueillis et accompagnés par les habitants, les promeneurs…, des artistes conçoivent et installent, en plein air, des oeuvres à découvrir le long de quarante cinq kilomètres de sentiers spécifiquement balisés. Six circuits, de 1h à 5h de marche, offrent
ainsi à voir plus d'une centaine d'oeuvres librement accessibles de mars à septembre.

Je suis en France, termine l'enregistrement de mon album à Sèvres, à Houilles, à Sartrouville et au Vésinet, je suis une boule de flipper dans Paris.

Woke up, made some coffee and sandwiches and went to the sea. 

Morning and grey, cool & collected, safe.

A lot of things have happened since my last record "Songs for Herr Nicke".

I quit my job at the Embassy, moved from Stockholm to Gothenburg, I have bought two flats (sold one), I have had two really LAME jobs, i wondered, i wandered, got fed up so I eventually started my own company. I tried an open relationship for a few weeks (didn't work). And finally I have been accepted to Gbg Film School at a Masters program in Film Production.

All these things combined have obviously had a huge impact on my everyday life.
When I listen to my first album it feels far away. To be completely honest, I fucking hate it right now.

I am really excited about my new record though. Every single second of it blows my mind.

In it there are :

Ukuleles, guitars (electric and folk), drums, bass, charengos, viola de gamba (an old old cello type), laughters, shouts, mimicked robots, clapping hands, another story about a monkey that also refers to Nietzsche's Horse, another reference to The Catcher in the Rye, a song for the girl next door, crispy sounds and shit loads of backing vocals. Lots of love, raw power and anger. A song for Valerie Solanas. Subverted hippie-isms.

It's a lot about everyday routine.

It was recorded by Eric Zahn who is like the kindest and smartest person to work with.

Jonköpink rocks

I am in Jonköping with Lilian, she makes me listen to The Besnard Lake, The Twilight Sad, Frightened Rabbit and Sunset Rubdown. As always I am the boring bitch that wants to listen to all the old stuff like Mazzy Star and Herman Düne, or Echo and the Bunnymen and even King Crimson. Whatsoever we have a lot of fun, party all the time and I am afraid I have diabetes cause I wanna pee 10 times per day? Whatever-

10 years ago

I was on a holiday in Gothenburg Sweden with my best friend Célia. We were broke and had not so much to do that summer so we decided to hitch-hike there because she wanted to meet her swede pen pal friend, Joel.

We ended up staying 3 weeks in Scandinavia. Back then I did not know that I would end up living in Sweden. I like that picture, it makes me want to have short short hair again.
